TEACHERS’ LEVEL OF FULFILL THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AND MATERIAL USING FROM THE VIEW POINT OF CANDIDATE TEACHERS IN THE LESSON OF TEACHER PRACTICE

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the apprehension of senior students which related to their lecturers’ fulfillment of task and responsibility, and ability of course materials through teaching application course. The study sample consisted of 486 candidate teachers who were attending Ankara University, Gazi University, Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Atatürk University and Hacettepe University. To gather data “Teaching Application Evaluation Scale” developing by the researcher was used. The data were analysis via SPSS In order to determine the significant differences in Teaching Application Evaluation Scale and its subscale scores according to the variables of gender, classroom level and chapter, independent sample t-tests and variance analysis “ANOVA” were performed. In situation that F values were found significantly, LSD tests were used. Significant level was accepted as .05. The results show that student perceptions on the levels of tasks and responsibilities performed by the application teachers in teaching application courses significantly varied depending on the gender variable indicating that males’ perceptions higher than males. In addition, results indicated that there were significant differences between students’ perceptions by the variables of types of teaching and chapter.
